    This is one of the cafés in the area that offer cheap and cheerful lunches. It is nicely tucked away from the busy scenes of Holborn. Nevertheless it is very popular among LSE students as they offer 10% student discount. There is however a £0.50 charge for eat in. They are open from Monday to Friday and closed on weekend.

    My favourite express lunch is the mushroom omelette with salad. The staff are friendly and helpful. I always watch BBC news live on their TV while eating my lunch. Multi-tasking.

    You order, you eat and you pay later. Not many cafés operate this way any more in London.

    The only irony is that it does not look anything like Venice. Perhaps they have links with Venice. I will find out more...Watch this space!
